WHO WE ARE:
We are a fairly new business incubator company based at Tribeca. We provide start up/transition solutions to international companies interested in trading in the US. We are a fun energetic team of very dedicated individuals.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for a talented Graphics and Web Designer Intern to join our dynamic team. You will be working closely with the marketing dept to develop company’s collateral materials, update/redesign our existing website, Facebook page and a blog. You will gain hands-on experience and be able to build your portfolio. We can provide strong recommendations. Also the internship may lead to steady freelancing or a position down the road.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
* Pro in Adobe Creative Suite
* Strong skills in Flash and DreamWeaver
* Knowledge of CSS and HTML
* Knowledge of typography, including font selection, color, and use
* Understanding of SEO is a huge plus
* Understanding of basic marketing concepts (ability to generate a design that reflects our position)
* Must be creative, independent, RELIABLE, able to work fast and multi-task, and meet deadlines.
This is part-time 2-3 days a week (fairly flexible hours) unpaid internship.
A stipend may be paid starting from the 4th month for the right person, and may evolve towards job-market compensation after 6 months.
Candidate must be able to commit for 6 months.
